The Accord Coalition has offered its thanks and appreciation to one of its co-founders, Jonathan Bartley, who has stepped down from the organisation’s governing Steering Group, after eight years of service.
Jonathan and the religious think tank he co-Directed, Ekklesia, helped set up Accord in 2008. Jonathan retires from the Steering Group following the announcement at this month’s annual Conference of the Green Party of England and Wales that he and Caroline Lucas MP were elected as joint Leaders of their Party. They received 86% of first preference votes.
Chair of the Accord Coalition for Inclusive Education, Rabbi Dr Jonathan Romain, said ‘We offer our thanks to Jonathan for his passion and energy for inclusive education, and the support and guidance he has given to Accord over many years. We look forward to continuing to work with Ekklesia, and we wish him well in his new role.’
