New research looking at how different types of school affect opportunities for children from poorer families has found faith schools to be a major source of socio-economic disadvantage and segregation in England's state funded school system.
Accord has criticised Church of England authorities for failing to prepare their schools for operating in a mixed belief society following publication of a new Church report regarding its participation in state funded schooling, entitled 'Church of England Vision for Education'.
