Dan Snow joins the Accord Coalition

May 8, 2020

The popular historian and TV presenter, Dan Snow MBE, has joined the Accord Coalition as its newest Distinguished Supporter. Explaining his decision Mr Snow said ‘If we want an open and inclusive society, then we need schools to be open and inclusive too. Children are our future. It’s vital that those of us who reject indoctrination, segregation and discrimination work together, in the interests of tolerance and social cohesion. I am pleased to support Accord’s campaign to advance these values.’

Welcoming him to the campaign Accord’s Chair, the Rev Stephen Terry, said ‘Dan is right to stress the important role schools play in determining the kind of society we become and the need for those who want inclusive schools to work together. It is only through collaboration that the majority who want a religiously inclusive school system will succeed. I am delighted that he has joined the campaign, allowing it to speak with a yet stronger voice.’
